Magnetom Open System

The Magnetom Open system provides a unique alternative to conventional MRI.  A true open system by definition based on the fact that it is accessible on 3 sides of the machine.  The room of the open MRI system is designed to provide a comforting, warm environment that is less intimidating than your standard imaging room.  The Viva Open MRI system is extremely quiet during operation, allowing you to relax without being startled by the noise of the equipment.  For those patients unable to comfortably complete an MRI exam in a conventional system this machine was designed for you.
